Meet Leonor

Founder of Mary J’s Apothecary | Cannabis Wellness Educator | Holistic Health Coach | Yoga Teacher | Pantry Monsters Author

Hi, I’m Leonor — founder of Mary J’s Apothecary, certified integrative nutrition health coach, yoga teacher, cannabis wellness educator, former dispensary manager, and soon-to-be published author of the Pantry Monsters children’s book series.

My work lives at the intersection of cannabis education, holistic wellness, mindful living, nourishment, movement, and real-life experience.

My cannabis roots began in a mom-and-pop dispensary, where I learned the heart of the plant, the importance of community, and the value of meeting people exactly where they are. I had the opportunity to work closely with people who were curious, learning, and often looking for guidance on how cannabis could fit into their lives in a more intentional way.

Later, I stepped into leadership as General Manager for a large cannabis brand. That experience gave me a broader view of the industry — from operations and education to watching cannabis become part of the larger wellness conversation.

But my path has never been only about cannabis.

Alongside my work in the industry, I continued studying holistic health and movement. Becoming a certified integrative nutrition health coach and certified yoga teacher shaped the way I approach wellness as a whole-person practice. It is not just about one habit, one product, or one perfect routine. It is about how we move, nourish, rest, breathe, reflect, and care for ourselves in everyday life.

My connection to nourishment goes back even further. More than a decade ago, my family spent several years living on a family farm while running a farmers stand, working closely with local growers and neighboring market stands. That season changed the way I understood food, ingredients, and the care that goes into real nourishment.

It also inspired the children’s book project that has grown into the Pantry Monsters series — a playful way to help families have meaningful conversations about food, ingredients, and everyday wellness.

Today, all of these paths come together through Mary J’s Apothecary: cannabis education, mindful living, movement, nourishment, and simple rituals that help people feel more connected to themselves.

Whether I’m teaching about cannabis, guiding someone toward a more intentional wellness routine, or creating stories that help families think differently about what’s in their pantry, my mission is the same:

To make wellness education feel grounded, approachable, and empowering.

The Mary J’s Approach

Wellness is not one-size-fits-all.

At Mary J’s Apothecary, cannabis is explored as one supportive tool within a larger wellness practice — alongside movement, nourishment, breath, rest, ritual, and self-awareness.

The goal is not to tell you exactly what to do. The goal is to help you ask better questions, listen to your body, and create rituals that feel supportive, realistic, and aligned with your life.

Here, you are invited to slow down, get curious, and begin noticing what feels grounding, what feels supportive, and what helps you feel more rested, steady, clear, or connected.
